Jewish Big Brothers Big Sisters is proud to honor Susan Gotshalk, our Vice President of Development, for her 36 years of hard work and dedication. During her career, Susan has held virtually every position possible within this agency. No one has worked harder, no one knows more about how we work, and from whom we get support, and no one is more beloved. Over the course of her career Susan has impacted the lives of hundreds of thousands of kids in need and adults with disabilities. From helping conceptualize and create the college scholarship campaign, to being the visionary and leader in our role with the Rodman Ride for Kids, to being a mentor to staff, volunteers and Board Members.
Susan may be retiring but her legacy will live on within the agency. ◆
At JBBBS, we help to connect children in need to adult mentors, and we introduce adults who have disabilities to new friends in their communities.
In this way, and in the spirit of chazak v’nithazaik (strengthening one another), we seek to support and empower individuals and families to engage, to participate actively in the life of their communities, to live inspired and to inspire others that none may be lost to us. Friendship: The next big thing. Read on to find your place here.
